Hi, I'm Theresa
As a girl growing up watching the Washington Redskins with my dad and living in a town that has nothing but farm fields and a football field, I developed a passion for football very young. It started in second grade when I tried out for cheerleading with the Damascus Sports Association. I continued to cheer or dance throughout middle school into high school where I met my husband during my senior year. We both attended Damascus High School (DHS) but he graduated the year before I became a freshman. We have been attending and supporting DHS since then. We have been married for twenty years and have two teenagers; a son and a daughter. They also attend DHS and during football season, there's nothing like Friday Night Lights in Damascus.
We are also big fans of the University of Maryland Terrapins. Most of my husband’s family attended the University of Maryland (UMD) which is where I plan to transfer to after completing the requirements with Montgomery College. We have been season ticket holders, and tailgaters, for many, many years. Our children have grown to like the UMD campus and have become fans as well. They both plan to attend UMD as transfer students from Montgomery College. The family cat, Cinder, is a very important part of our life as well. She is a Norwegian Forest Cat and has a great personality and temperament. She's my third child. |
